Recital

The R.D.A. performs an annual recital at a professional theatre. All registered dancers will have the opportunity to participate in this professional presentation. The recital has many benefits. It is an opportunity for students to showcase their hard work and their development as dancers. It also helps children build confidence and self-esteem. The preparation for the recital and the actual performance itself helps children understand the importance of practice and refinement, and the need to work collectively with their peers to produce a polished final performance.

1. 1. All dancers registered will have the opportunity to participate in The Royal Dance Academy Annual Recital. This professional presentation is the chance for students to showcase their hard work in a professional theater. (participation is optional).
   
   
2. 2. Costumes and recital fees will be paid for by parents either before or during the month of December.
   
   
3. 3. If a student is absent for more than three (3) classes during the months of February – June, they may not participate in the recital. (exceptions will be made for illness).
   
   
4. 4. All recital participants must attend all rehearsals and dress rehearsals.
   
   
5. 5. All costumes will be ordered during the month of December. All students will be measured and orders are placed only for costumes paid in full at the time of ordering…
   NO EXCEPTIONS. Costume payments do not include tights and shoes.
   
   
6. 6. Once costumes are ordered, there will be no refunds.
   
   
7. 7. Costumes can range in price from $60 - $130.
   
   
8. 8. In an effort to make payments less cumbersome, especially for those students who perform in numerous dances, The Royal Dance Academy has set up a costume payment plan for students and families.
   A $20 deposit will be due on Sept. 1st, Oct. 1st and Nov. 1st, with the remaining balance due on Dec. 1st.
   
   
9. 9. All accounts must be settled and dues paid in full by June 1st. A student will not be allowed to participate in the recital if their account still has an outstanding balance after June 10th.
