AUGUST 2010 NEWSLETTER

Dear Parent

I hope you are all having a wonderful summer and enjoying some quality family time. We have been extremely busy at the studio with Summer Camps, Summer classes and new registrations. We have approximately 4 weeks until the Fall classes begin, so I wanted to give you on update on studio events.

Studio Camps:

Our summer camps have been extremely successful and lots of fun this year. The "So You Think You Can Dance" camp was extremely popular. It was amazing at how many styles of dance the students learned in a week! We had many new students begin Pointe work after the classical camps. Our Broadway Bound dancers had a absolutely fabulous time and as usual our little Princesses were the cutest little ballerinas around.

'Shirley Temple Fantasy Saturday' — 1 day camp — this Saturday!

Our last camp for the little ones! We have our Shirley Temple day this Saturday August 7th from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. The little ones will learn songs and dance in the style of this adorable performer. Cost is $60. Call if interested in joining this fun day!

RAD Camp:

RAD camp is from Monday August 9th – Friday August 13th for all those enrolled in RAD. Please bring character shoes and skirt each day if you have them already. Hair must be in a bun.

Boys only Hip Hop Class:

Calling ALL BOYS for our NEW 'BOYS ONLY HIP HOP CLASS' on Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m. with Mike Langford. Class begins on Wednesday, September 8th. Please call the studio to sign up. This will be a fantastic class for boys!!!

Classes:

Some classes are full and many have wait lists. We will be contacting some smaller classes to combine so we can create more classes for those that have big wait lists. If you haven’t signed up yet please do so ASAP to guarantee a spot.

Uniform Days:

We will hold uniform days on the following:
Friday, August 13th — 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Monday, August 23rd — 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 24th — 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 1st — 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Competitions:

We are finalizing the exact times of when teams will rehearse and we will contact you ASAP.

DVD’s of Recital:

The company have began the mailing process of the recital DVD’s and they should be arriving to your mailbox by next week.

Tuition:

Tuition has already been processed for September. For those who are enrolled in classes and still have not brought in a voided check, I will be charging tuition to your credit card on file with the 6% interest as notified in the policy for payments.
